Think Like a Flower - 2025
Director of photography
Whilst working of TLAF, I worked as D.O.P so I worked closely with the Director on this project. I made a detailed shot list for the short film, along with a floor plan. Since there was only one person per role, I had to set up the shot/camera, whilst also doing my own lens changes and camera logs along with logging all the settings I used on the camera in case we needed any reshoots.

2025 - 2021
Coulrophobia - 2025
Focus Puller
During this project I worked as a camera assistant and focus puller. I made sure that the short film we were making was as crisp and clean as I could possibly make it. Alongside being camera assistant I made sure to record the logs with what lenses, f-stop, iso, etc... was used during filming each scene and was in charge of changing the lenses on the camera.
In The Doghouse - 2025

On this project, we tried to do a lot of challenging shots which proved to be intense as a one person crew on camera. I had to condense a lot of shots due to short filming schedules, which helped me learn quick problem solving skills on set to help make the short film still flow. I helped me to keep calm under pressure.
Driving Short - 2025

This was a small project consisting of four crew members. Whilst I was working with the Director to create the shot list, there were a few small challenges about what shots we should do and what worked. When creating the shot list I was giving the Director ideas and insight into shots I thought would work well in this short film, bouncing ideas back and forth between the two of us till the Director figured out what they wanted for the film.

Old News -2024

I had a lot of fun collaborating to create this project, I am very proud with how it turned out. Experimenting with the old filming style was one of my favourite parts of this short film. Me and the Director of 'Old News' had very similar ideas and concepts of what we wanted for this piece and how we wanted it to pan out shot wise for the final product.
Misfit Boys - 2024
1st Camera Assistant
The 'Misfit Boys' was a project that I helped on as camera assistant and I did focus pulling on one and a half days of filming due to the main focus puller being sick for a day and then letting me do some more another day to see my capabilities which they were surprised by. Since I had never done it for a proper project just in my spare time, I got feedback during filming that they were impressed with my work. As camera assistant I helped with moving the camera, tripod and getting out equipment they needed, changing lenses and doing all the camera logs for the project and getting feedback for the logs from the D.O.P about the takes.
Phone Box - 2023

This was an interesting project to film, where I did this completely solo. The location I chose with the only available phone box near me ended up being a live area where people kept trying to come up to me and the equipment so I had to do the whole short, handheld due to having all the equipment on my person so that I didn't leave it unattended.
Promotional Video - 2021

We were contacted by small private plane company in Manchester to see if they would like a promotional video made for their website, they hastily replied with a yes. During this project we kept in regular contact with our client and kept them in the loop about the project throughout the entire process. It was a two person crew, where we documented all that the company has to offer.
Music Video - 2021

This project was one of the first shorts I worked on, we made a music video for a song that didn't have one. The Director wanted it to be quite literal and have the subject save themselves, so that's what I used to influence my shot list for the final project. Quite a few shots were handheld which I made steadier, the shot of the flowers I was unable to attend due to an exam I was sitting at the time. As D.O.P I filmed shots the director wanted to film, I also ended up collecting quite a lot of B-roll footage which some of were good shots that got added into the final product.
